Vector Wars - Git Hub Download →
You can download Vector Wars from Git Hub, It’s playable but incomplete. Its served its purpose, and I am moving on. I might revisit it later as there are somethings that I wanted to add to it and didn’t. PS: you’ll need ruby and the gosu gem installed to run it.

No Frontlines?
Maybe somthings up, but I just installed Frontlines Fuel of War. I played abit of the single player to get a feel for the game, and found that it was fairly underated, I quite enjoyed it. Sure its not COD4, but its quite good. So I jumped on multiplayer. to my disappointment, I only found about 6 servers with people on them? Surely this cant be, did this game bomb so bad that only 300 people play...

Gears of Bore
Okay, it was the longest Install I have ever done, then I had to Live wanted to be updated… okay fine, then Live didn’t know how to update… okay lemmy hold your hand Live. And this is just for the privilege to save a fucking game. Cos game saves where never possible before Live came along where they now? I dont dare open up the multiplayer cos who knows what happens then. Remind...

Ruby Games
Okay, for the last new weeks I’ve been playing around with Gosu; its a 2d game library for ruby (and c++). I don’t think I’ve ever had so much fun with ruby before, its truly a great language to write games in. Your code is nice and concise. A joy to say the least.

The Death of PC Gaming.
Okay I’m not a console gamer, nor do I think that pc gaming is coming to an end right now. Although I am becoming increasing frustrated with pc games. Game devs keep wining about piracy but nobody is really tackling the problem, which makes there constant gripping a little tiresome. To compond the problem, there are various 3rd party service like steam and stardock, dont get me wrong these...

Geometry Wars
This Game has been out for sometime, and I finally got around to trying it out. And man I’m hooked. Its so simple in a ‘why didn’t I think of that’ way. If anybody out there is hesitating, dont. Get it, its cheap as chips on Steam $4.

The Mac Memory Rip-Off
I am in the market for a memory upgrade, and I started off on the apple website. And to my horror to upgrade to 4GB of memory would cost me £360(the price has since been updated). Well that’s far to much money. So a little digging I found my self at Crucial, where they are selling 4GB for less than apple are selling 1GB. Seriously who spends £360 on a ram upgrade?

Overpriced Downloads
Okay, maybe I’m living in a bubble of some sort and the outside world that is reality is somehow distorted. I was under the impression that download services where supposed to make things cheaper. I’m a gamer I use steam, steam great. but when the game is almost double the price that you can get in store why bother buying online? iTunes is the same, while the music is a very...

You're Stealing from Us!
I’m starting to find all this music(movies too) crap a little old. Watching ads of rich artists complain that people are stealing. Now U2’s manager says that ISPs should disconnect illegal downloaders. It is not the job of ISPs to police the net, in the same way that road construction crews should not stop fucktards driving around like the idiots they are. Piracy is a real problem,...

The Web Sucks!
I am starting to hate the web more and more, with the exception of a few nice websites, I’m sick off… Opt out mailing lists. I never asked for your junk mail, don’t assume that I want it. To much Registration. You don’t need to know every facet of my life! Must have an email address. Sure but really this is just for your fucking opt out mailing list? Yet another user/pass....

I'm a Dad - Holy Crap!
My lovely wife (Meagan) gave birth to our daughter in the early hours this morning. After a few false starts, a lot of pain, a bit of gore, and some doctor babble, little Roisin was born into this world. The best new years eve I’ve ever had, phew I’m gonna have a sleep now.
